This is Blu’s newest stop motion animation titled “BIG BANG BIG BOOM” and it’s “an unscientific point of view on the beginning and evolution of life … and how it could probably end.
Italian street artist Blu has joined forces with filmmaker and painter David Ellis on COMBO, an animation as collaborative in effort as sensibility. Filmed over just 10 days, this kinetic installation, or “motion painting,” whimsically explores the interplay between aural and visual narratives in a beautifully complementary and synergistic manner. It is, as in its snackfood namesake, a delicious assemblage.
Artist Blu makes some amazing graffiti animation on the streets. Also catch his work on the side of the Tate Modern Museum in London. The Street Art exhibit can be viewed through August 25th.
