Day two of MAGIC Las Vegas, here we go! Two more satisfied Green Label Art collectors in the house.

MAGIC Las Vegas is the number one fashion convention in the USA, in case you didn’t know. Just like with last volume, Dew set up their Green Label Art Lounge at the show to provide showgoers with a great place to hang out, rest their feet and take down some refreshing (and collectable) drinks. Over the first two days of the show we had GLA artists Pushead and Mark Smith sign some bottle for fans, we had great DJs and even a suprise performance. Check out day one pictures right here.

Earlier this month we visited with Mike about his Comic-Con experience. In this video by Toybot Studios he talks about the creative process, shows off some of his recent work, and gives a little tour of his workspace. See more pictures of Mike’s custom Bop Dragons here.

This may look like an underground rap video but it’s not. It’s actually an advertisement commissioned by the the COI in England and aims to expose kids to foreign languages. The ad is part of the campaign “Try Life in Another Language” and features rapper Disiz.

Reverse graffiti is the art of writing graffiti by removing dirt, paint, or other substances from a surface. I think we’ve all done a little reverse graffiti in our time, if you count writing on the random dirty car window. Alexander Orion takes this art to another level in this video.

Green Label Art’s very own Billy the Artist will be tagging a few lucky Smart cars. Above is a sneak peek at one of his first designs that will cover the entire door panel. In a hot minute you’ll be able to get you very own Billy the Artist tagged Smart car. More on the Smart car project when they hit the streets. Keep a look out!

Here’s a glimpse at Jeffrey Gibson’s exploration in landscape and form. His shape-shifting installations and artwork capture the moment of potential. Smartly titled by the artist as “Promise”. See more of his fun work here.

Here’s a quick look at a stencil art pioneer. Blek le Rat’s iconic graphics, first showing up in France and then around the globe, established the monochromatic graffiti style in the early 80′s. Banksy and other artists then started emerging. No hints of putting away the paint, Blek le Rat has made it to the U.S.

Artist Blu makes some amazing graffiti animation on the streets. Also catch his work on the side of the Tate Modern Museum in London. The Street Art exhibit can be viewed through August 25th.

These drawings represent the art of Mike Sutfin as it evolved into its final form. As he points out on his blog, there were some changes between this version and the art appearing on his bottle. Note the axe, banner and mist.

PJ Richardson, one of the six new GLA artists, creates gems in motion graphics. He just made this great spot featuring Chris Brown.

Mike Sutfin was out at SDCC last month meeting with fans and fellow artists and illustrators. He gave a few of his highlights from the event. In no particular order they were: searching for Art books at Bud Plant and Stuart NG, getting to meet fans in person, checking out massive amounts of original artwork, watching the Gaslamp District of San Diego become overrun with Comic-Con attendees wielding inflatable swords and Glenn Danzig sightings.
